The science of pranayama (yogic breathing) is the fourth limb of ashtanga yoga practice. It is a very important part of the study of yoga.
As explained in the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, “the breath is directly connected to the mind. Controlling the breath can bring peace and stability to the person who practices pranayama.”
Join Christine Stein for a study of this great science.
We will cover:
Philosophy of pranayama as taught by Sri B.K.S. Iyengar
