With support of the ropes, students develop courage to pursue poses that may seem impossible to them.

In this two-session weekend workshop, we will review preparatory actions for backbending asanas, work through classic back arches in the ropes, then move to rope supported versions of a few advanced backbends.

Work is cumulative, sessions may not be taken individually.

Prerequisite: Intermediate Level Practice, at least one year of continuous Iyengar Yoga instruction
