“Yoga allows you to find a new sense of freedom that you may not have known even existed.” – B.K.S. Iyengar
Known for its broad contributions to the therapeutic applications of Yoga, the Iyengar Yoga tradition includes many applications to improve the health of our lower backs. In these classes, Anna will go through a variety of ways to ease pain and restore function to this all important region of the body.
Whether you have a problem that is chronic or recent, or simply want to learn ways to keep your practice safe, feel free to bring your questions and concerns to the class. Be prepared to work and have fun!
All are welcome, including teachers. Please make sure to check with your doctor that it is okay to begin an exercise program if you have recently had surgery.
