Students must be able to do a 10 minute Sirsasana and lift up into Urdva Dhanurasana from the floor.
This four session course is for yoga teachers and students with substantial experience in Iyengar yoga. Students should be able to hold Sirsasana and Sarvangasana each for ten minutes; show stability and maturity in backward and forward extensions, twists and arm balances. Philosophical themes will be
explored and applied. A regular home practice is strongly advised so that the student is able to self-manage injuries and/or restrictions.
Jim has been teaching for over 30 years. He has been fortunate to study under the guidance of Faeq Biria and Manouso Manos and with the Iyengar family on numerous occasions in India. Jim has a methodical and strong teaching style, preparing his students to make the poses more accessible.
